River Thames - 18th October 2020
24 anglers booked in for this match, 12 from GAS and 12 from TDFC. During the week the Thames was pushing through and very coloured, a few members ventured out and enjoyed catching some quality Roach in the flood.
However - Come match day, the river was still pushing through but it was much clearer and fishing was tough, many blanked.
Jamie Nash continued his good form winning the match with 9lb 6ozs of Roach & Dace but unfortunately looks like it was from another heavily pre-baited popular night swim. But fair play you still have to catch them.
With the good numbers of match anglers turning out we need to include these popular night pegs, something I need to discuss with the committee going forward.
