After all the good work carried out on the river Loddon at Sandford last year the club arranged a match this season to see how it would fish.
The venue was limited to no more than 12 anglers, in fact after a walk of the venue earlier in the week there was only approx. 8/9 fish able pegs giving all anglers a fair chance from the swim.
Six anglers booked in for the match, a very low turnout based on other matches this season, probably in the know it would be hard, and they weren't wrong.
