Two ponds situated in Ruscombe offering all year round fishing for carp, roach and tench. Approximately two acres in size, the larger pond contains round 20 swims. The smaller pond is reserved for juniors. Float fishing, roach pole and ledger tactics work well.
Located in Ruscombe Business Park, Pavilions Ponds is a modest-sized and intimate mixed fishery. With extreme depths, it offers excellent winter fishing for roach and perch whilst in summer the venue’s shoals of crucian, common and mirror carp come to the fore. The common carp in particular are lean and extremely powerful. There are 20+ pounders in the larger of the two ponds and many an angler has been convinced he has hooked one only to find a five pounder in his net.
Both ponds are very accessible and just a short walk from the car park. Swims are flat and comfortable and several are connected by a wooden walkway. The smaller of the two ponds is reserved for juniors and their adult carers with swims designed to accommodate two anglers. It too has a superb head of carp, tench and silver fish.
Upon entering the business park, members are required to show their membership card to the security officer. Turn right when you get into the park and follow the road until you get to the car park with the ponds straight ahead of you.
Secure parking in the business park car park. Turn right after passing the security barrier and follow the road until you see the small pond in front of you.
